When the sun touches the morning
While I’m beyond excited for the warmer weather to arrive, I’m not quite ready to bid goodbye to my first winter just yet. And I think this outfit perfectly describes my sentiments. A trench coat is great for the transitional weather, and adding a pop of colour with this layering choice is sure to make you stand out in a crowd of the usual blacks and greys. In a fabulous way, of course. While it’s great to lighten up with sheer tights, stay warm by opting for heavier fabrics such as the suede skater skirt from Zara I’m sporting here. Not only so, skater skirts offer a softer, more feminine silhouette compared to the jeans and leather skirts of winters past and serve as a girly welcome to spring. Picking prints and colours in subdued tones like the cool purples and blues in my floral crop top are a nod of acknowledgement to the seasonal progression.
